AMSEA is conducting a Fishing Vessel Stability class in Westport, Washington. This course is offered at no cost to commercial fishermen thanks to support from NIOSH, the U.S. Coast Guard, and AMSEA members.
The F/V Stability Class is perfect for owners, skippers, and engineers of commercial fishing vessels. Students will learn stability concepts and terms, effects of changes in center of gravity, bouyancy and righting arms, operational stability, icing, contents of a vessel's stability instructions, flooding control and more!
